The importance of what was said in the previous chapter needs to be grasped. It can now be proven that the mythical and Biblical dragon, because it incorporated both Harmonia and Ladon>Daphne, is the Samosata bloodline. Proof is as easy as the family (of Sames II) naming Samosata also ruling Sophene = Daphne. Therefore, the Biblical dragon goes back through the dynasty of Sames II, which was the Orontid dynasty. Not since I identified the dragon cult as the Bagratid dynasty of Armenia have I closed in on it with such tangible terms. The Bagratids, who claimed to be from king David of Israel, were also from the Orontes line. It's roundly believed that Samosata was a city of the Hittites of the historians. The only way for Dionysus proper (i.e. from Semele) to have become a Nesi branch Hittite people is for his Samaali branch to have settled in Nesi...which could then be calibrated as a Semele-Samosata alliance. It may not be necessary, however, to define the Nesi branch as having anything to do with the Ethiopian mount Nysa, as Nesi may have been named directly from Nuzi.
Consider that while "Samael" was defined as a demonic character by the Hebrew-Chaldean Kabala, the same term was also made to represent the highest virtues; it's typical of Kabala to paint Satan God, and God Satan. The two following definitions of the term are followed by who made them:
"Samael, The Demiurge, The Craftsman or Creator, the deity responsible for the creation of the physical universe. Platonism and GnosticismSamael, the concealed occult Wisdom. Chaldean Book of Numbers

For new readers, mythical Semele (mother of Dionysus) was the subject of the previous chapter. Following a theory that she depicted ancient Somalis removed to Lydia is of course a very key discovery, for who would have thought? It worked well into my previous discovery that Samosata was key to the dragon leading to "Uncle Sam" in America, especially when I found that the capital of the Hittites had been Samuha. The secondary capital had been Sapinuwa (= "land of Sapin" = Daphne), and as one can see, this appears to be an extension of Sophene.
Suddenly, the Samaali of Ethiopia led me to find that the Samosata-Sophene dragon cult was Hittite. The Hittites are defined as peoples from the Tigris river who came to rule the Hatti city of Hattusa and continued on using the name of the city in identifying themselves, for they had lived in and around the city in previous generations and had therefore become assimilated. Since they were not in fact Hittites, a new identification is long overdue, and I would suggest Kassites from Nuzi, for it was the Nesi Hittites who overcame Hattusa. In fact, as inscriptions tell that a king of Kushar had destroyed Hatti-ruled Hattusa, the Kothar-wa-Khasis cult is suspect. This fits excellently with the known knowledge that Hittites had a close religious affiliation with the Khassi region (Kizzuwatna) of Cilicia.
As I am pegging Khassi as a realm of the Kassites, and as I've identified Kassites with the Assi (on the Tigris), it becomes apparent that the Kassites were a major constituent of proto-Armenians, for it is known that Armenians stem from an Azzi peoples (around Lake Van). The peoples who came west to raze Hittite-ruled Hattusa, known to have been the Azzi, included the "Armatanan." The Hittite king, Hattusili III wrote:
From afar, the Azzian enemy came and sacked all the Upper Lands and he made Samuha his frontier...From afar, the Armatanan enemy came, and he too sacked the Hatti lands. And he made Kizzuwadna, the city, his frontier. And Hattus, the city, was burned down."http://oi.uchicago.edu/research/library/ane/digest/2000/v2000.n271
"Armenia" is a development from "Arma/Urme" of Urartian and Assyrian records. Arma terms did not, apparently, exist until the Urartians, and therefore did not exist in the age of Hermes and Harmonia as per their depictions in the Greek theater. It can be deduced thereby that these two mythical terms were created (by myth writers) after Armenia proper had been formed, and that the writers had therefore viewed Hermes and Harmonia as proto-Armenian stock.
I therefore feel that I am correct in identifying Hermes and Harmonia as Amazons of Mysia and Lydia, for it is known that Armenians proper descended from Mushki, Phrygians, and Azzi. An online writer says: "Mush-ki is the Armenian -k' plural and therefore represents the first wave of his Thraco-Phrygian infiltration [into Armenia, to form Armenia proper], while just plain Mush is Mysia and refers to the Phrygians." (webpage above)
In this book, I have Hermes and Harmonia stemming from Armenia, when, technically, it was the other way around, something I did not realize till now. What I've meant is, not only that the two mythical characters stemmed from the land that came to be Armenia, but from proto-Armenian blood...what might have been deemed Aram in early days. In this picture, Armenians proper coming west-to-east from Phrygia (beginning 12th century BC) were just returning to the lands that their fathers possessed centuries earlier. More simply, the Azzi and their Samosata-Sophene kin, known to have been proto-Armenians, went west from proto-Armenia, made a military impression on the Hatti and Hittite kingdoms for some time, but then retreated/migrated/invaded the land which they had been in initially, at Lake Van. Hermes and Harmonia, by that time, were not only in Greece, but in Britain.
An online forum suggests that "Armatanan" is unidentified by historians, and that the term was rare. The worse news is, the term can break down as Ar-Mitanni, which has further uncertainty as either "mountain of Mitanni," or an Armenian-Mitanni mix. Or is that good news? Only if you like fog. Prior to the Azzi taking over the Hittite kingdom, the Mitanni were over-ruling Kizzuwatna, meaning that Hittite Hattusa could have been destroyed by the Mitanni as well as the Azzi, or even that the Azzi were themselves the remnants of the Kizzuwatna Mitanni. I'm suggesting that an Azzi-branch Mitanni ruler changed the name of Adaniya to Kizzuwatna, even as "Azzi" reflects "Kizzu" quite well.
http://oi.uchicago.edu/research/library/ane/digest/2000/v2000.n271As Hermes has been identified with the Cadusii Armenians, I expect that the Cati of Kizzuwatna were depicted by Hermes, and that Cadmus was a mix with him (a Cadmus-Hermes partnership has much basis in myth). But wherein was Semele, as an historical people, if Cadmus technically did not depict the Cati, but depicted only a mix with the Cati? What aspect within the Cadmo-Phoenicians was she, since there doesn't appear to be a major Samaale-like term in the Phoenician theater? See map of Hittite regions.
Hermes is to be somewhat distinguished from Manes. The latter depicted the Mannae Armenians evolving into the Hatti as per Manes' son being made Atti(s). One can see that the two spellings, "Atti" and "Attis/Atys" can be understood as "Hatti" versus "Hattusa." Yet at some point another code was added between Manes and Attis, that being Cotys, who I think represented the Cadusii, wherefore the addition would have taken place when some Cadusii partook in Hattusa. This is one reason that I have considered pegging the Hittites (who came to rule Hattusa) as the Hermes Cadusii. Note how well "Cadusia" reflects "Hattusa." Yet, alas, I must admit painfully that one must allow Cotys=Hattusa to depict a Cadusii branch other than the one depicted by Hermes proper. After all, there were two snakes wrapped around the Hermes caduceus.
The situation becomes difficult to ascertain until much mental wrangling is done on the topic, and I haven't as yet done enough. As the Hittites ended up ruling Lydia, and as Hermes was settled on the Hermus river of Lydia, expediency seems merited in identifying Cotys as the Hermes wave of Cadusii. Yet it's also possible to view Hermes as a wave coming separately to the Hermus river, to settle with the Cotys wave already there. The reason that I am changing my mind, no longer identifying Hermes with the Hattusa Hittites, is that I am beginning to see his role strictly as that branch of Cadusii at mount Hermon. This was the Daphne wave to Greece, which I have taking place well after the Hittites had taken Hattusa (details later). Yet one may yet view the Hittites as Hermes loosely, in that Cotys and he were both a Cadusii peoples.
It should be difficult to distinguish between Manes and Hermes elements landing in the Lydian theater. Not only were both depicted with a ram, as for example Amun (i.e. Manes in Africa) was, but I think Attis evolving into his son, Lydus, occurred at such a late time that it could not have occurred without Hermes fused into the Lydus portion by that time. Plus, I have the naming of Lydia occurring from the Lotan dragon, which (I have reasoned) was brought to Maeonia by the Daphne wave. That is, I don't think Lydia, under that name, could have developed apart from Daphne's arrival to the region.
It occurs to me just now that "Arcadi,a" the Greek birthplace of Hermes, may have been an Armenia-Cadusii combo.
A question arises as to whether Hermes did depict Samosata Armenians, for that entity may have belonged instead to codeword, Harmonia (for she was a peoples of Samos and Samothrace; see previous chapter). However, "Harmonia" was also "Hermione," so that if Harmonia depicted Samosata Armenians, ditto could be the case for Hermes...adding to the Hermes-Hittite relationship.
It is known that Hermes' caduceus symbol was that of Tiresias as well, and as he depicted the father of Daphne, it's possible that he and Hermes were both the peoples of Sophene. The undeniable historical evidence wherein Samosata and Sophene were both of the Hittites tends to prove that Hermes was an element of the Hittites, even if we cannot make a hard Hermes = Hittite-proper equation. The Armenian dynasty (Yervand) of Sames II that ruled the Sophene and Samosata together, in the 2nd century BC, should trace back to the proto-Hittites of Cadusia.
An important related question is the origin of the Halybo-Khaldi. Since they lived on the same river as was situated Hattusa, were they of the Hatti, or Hittite, wave? I've yet to find good evidence for either position, but in either case, they appear Armenian. The Urartians, who thrived in proto-Armenia, had Khaldu as their god, suggesting a derivation from the Khaldi. However, as the Urartians are said to descend from the Nairi, it should be true that Urartians are from both the Nairi and the Khaldi, although the Khaldi would seem to have achieved supremacy as per the institution of the Khaldu god in the Urartian kingdom. With Kabeiri-infested Chaldeans from the Halys making up one side, and what could have been Nahorites making up the other, Urartians look largely Hebraic. The point here is to suggest Nairi roots for the Halybes and/or the Khaldi.
As an aside, Urartu is extremely important for identifying king Arthur's blood, for as Arthur traces to the Halybes, who were either the same as the Khaldi, or else their immediate neighbors, Arthur should trace back to Urartian elements. As I had traced Arthur to geographical terms such as "Arda" (Hebros river), and "Arta" (Epirus), I cannot fail to mention here what I have since found (at the Armenia article below): that "Ardi" and "Arti" are terms derived from "Urartu."
http://www.angelfire.com/hi/Azgaser/AR.htmlThe article publishes multiple insights that I find extremely helpful to my work. This particular claim that "Arti" derives from "Urartu" fits so well with a trace of Arthur to the Halybo-Khaldi that I feel it must be bang-on! The writer (Martiros Kavukjian) goes on to say that "Ardi" had been the Armenian sun god (though I find no evidence for the idea elsewhere online), and, under the same topic, that the Sumerian "Inanna [= the Great Tart] was the goddess of Aratta" (he doesn't mention Arthur, as no one but myself, my readers, and possibly a few Illuminatists know of Arthurian links to Arda and Arta; details in coming chapters).
It may be that the picture of the ex-Chalyb-ur sword, as a possession of Arthur by which he could slay nations, was a picture of the Halybes being subservient to the Khaldi, in which picture Arthur is more Khaldi than Halybe. It must be reasoned that the Halybes, as inventors of metal smelting, were avid weapons makers so as to warrant the sword symbol.
Wikipedia says: "Aratta is often mentioned by modern historians in connection with the later regional powers of Mannai, Urartu and the Medes."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ArattaBut what else I found on the Aratta topic is astounding. It concerns the theory that Aratta was the Jiroft kingdom in Iran. I had previously traced Hermes to this region i.e. to Hormuz on the Persian gulf. I had written: "One may ask if Armenia wasn't named as a reflection of 'Hormuz,' or vice versa...'Hormuz' in Armenian is 'Aramazd.'"
At the time, I had no idea that nearby Hormuz was the Iranian province of Kerman!!! These three exclamation marks are for three other determinations. 1) Hermes was the god of mount Hermon in Phoenicia, wherefore I can now identify Hermon, it's summit Sion, and the Priory-of-Sion Illuminati, as an extension of Kerman; 2) I had traced the Herminone Germanics to mount Herman, and, 3) I had equated Hermes and Harmonia. Therefore, see what Wikipedia says of Kerman province: "Historical documents refer to Kerman as 'Karmania', 'Kermania', 'Germania' and 'Zermanya'." Thus, Kerman is the root of Armenia.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kerman_provinceAs evidence that the dragon cult started at Kerman (near Susa and its Elamite stock) before arriving to Sumeria, Inanna (styled anciently as the "Heavenly Mother of the Dragon") was (according to myth) of Aratta before moving to Uruk in Sumeria (see Aratta webpage above). If Jiroft (in Kerman) was indeed Aratta, or even if Aratta was anywhere in/near Kerman, one can trace the bloodline, though not necessarily the dragon cult (since I don't know where the dragon symbol enters the bloodline) further back in history, which I surmised to be north of Kerman at the origin of Susa Elamites: in Delymite domain on/off the south Caspian-sea coast. That region was essentially the eastern land of proto-Armenia. Aram was the brother of Elam, you see, according to Genesis 10.
While the Aram nation is known to be centered around Damascus and Halab (both in Syria), note that "Damascus" is likely named after Ishtar's husband "Dumuzi," and that Halab (now Aleppo) evokes the Halybes. There's a lot of fodder here for those who like to have fun with mysteries, but let me insist that Arthur was a dead-serious demonic cult, not the Christian gentleman that he is portrayed as in Franko-British lore.
As more evidence that Hittites were related to Hermes, the Hittite rulers styled "Sippiluliuma" can be identified as mount Sipylus on the Hermus river. As the Sipylus region was Luwian, so we find that Luwian and Hittite were closely-related languages. I'm going to trace the Luwian term from the Hermes cult in Phoenicia. None of these points made to identify Hittites as Cadusii should defer to the other side of the coin, that Hittites might also have been of Dionysus compounds from Nuzi and/or mount Nysa in Ethiopia.
Hermes helped Pelops (son of Tantalus) to find his place in Pisa (Elis, Greece), wherefore Tantalus likewise depicted Hittites, though of later times. Indeed: "Other [myth] versions name [Tantalus'] father as Tmolus..., son of Sipylus, a king of Lydia." Mythical Sipylus of Lydia should have depicted the Sippiluliuma dynasty, with Tantalus as the result. Hittites therefore ended up, not only in Arcadia, but in neighboriong Pisa-Elis.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TantalusThe Sippiluliuma Hittites were in charge over the Mitanni, and Sippiluliuma did come to conquer proto-Lydia, what was then called "Arzawa." As the capital of Arzawa was Apasa/Abasa (thought to Ephesus), it would appear that this was the remnant of mythical Abas and his Abantian rowdies that long before put out a branch to furnish Punt in the first place. Now the Puntians are coming back from Ethiopia to settle the same land, now called after an Arda/Arta peoples, which I must presume to be the proto-Urartians = the Khaldi.
That is, Arzawa looks like a Khaldi domain, for Arzawa appears to have "Arda/Arta" as it's root. I would glean that, in this period prior to the rise of Urartu, Arzawa was named not after Urartians, but after the Arda/Ardeskos kingdom on the Hebros river, what I had pegged as mythical Arthur to the point if publishing it (details in coming chapters are convincing). Arda to this day is Kurdzhali, which appears to be a variant of "Arzawa"...and for this reason the ancestry of Arda and Arzawa may belong to Kurdish elements.
I wasn't going to publish my suspicion that "Aratta" and "Kartli" are cognates until I had written the above, for the Kartli Georgians were ancient Kurds. I now see that the Kartli were the golden-fleece bloodline. That is, Tantalus and Hermes were the golden fleece of a ram that flew to Colchis=Georgia, where the Kartli Georgians are known to have lived. But as Tantalus and Hermes were peoples/rulers of Arzawa=Kurdzhali, it could be that the Kartli were a product of that nation. In this light, the Arthur cult is a western stalk of Kurdish Gorgons, otherwise known as the Curete and Corybantes. Golden-fleece symbols on British Coats of Arms should therefore correspond to the Arthurian line leading back to Arzawa.
I found this little tidbit: "Luwian has also been enlisted for its verb kaluti, which means 'turn' or 'circle'." Can we now see how "Kartli" and "Khaldi" could have been the same term denoting a wheel? "Kartli," and its variant, "Kartvelian," appear to mean "cart people" and "cartwheel people." One website reports that Armenia is "The earliest location where wheeled transportation is said to have been implemented." Perhaps. I recall rooting "Chaldea" to an unknown ancient Aryan term for our "cauldron," from which metal was made. It's only now that I find "kaluti" to mean "turn," which seems synonymous with "stir." Our "cauldron" comes from the Latin, "calidus" meaning "hot." Apparently, the ancient Chaldeans used to say, "circle that pot," instead of "stir that pot." Makes sense. In this way, the god, Khaldu, was probably named after the hot chariot wheel in the sky, the sun.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luwian_languageAs an Urartian king (Menua) wrote that he had invaded "Arma," the Urartians (from "Ararat") are to be somewhat distinguished from the Armenians proper. This is explained where Urartians were an evolution of the Nairi peoples, i.e. a peoples of proto-Armenia who had not left Lake-Van environs (as had the Hatti, Hittites, and Azzi). In that picture, the Urartians were a mix of those who stayed, and those who left but returned. As the Azzi definitely returned, since they became the Arma/Armenians proper, it should be said that the Azzi could likewise have been from the Nairi, for the Azzi lived exactly where the Nairi kingdom sat (west of Lake Van). As it is said that Mysians and Mushki returned to become the Armenians proper, which defines Armenians as Amazons, it is my impression that the Urartians contributed much to the Biblical Meshech of Ezekiel's day, at the time on the Black sea coast of Georgia.
I include Hephaestus among the Hatti wave, for Atti(s) moved on to become Attica and Athens, the haunt of Hephaestus. It then becomes apparent that Hephaestus, as a depiction of pharaoh Cheops and his son, Cephre, went south on the Nile to form the Aten cult, and the city of Akhenaten, otherwise called Amarna. From this we can deduce that the Aten cult in Egypt, which we can only suspect was a variation of Hephaestus' Kabeiri cult, arrived to Akhenaten with pharaoh Akhenaten (who named the cult and the city). This should easily explain why Egyptian rulers had a religious obsession with the male sex organ (I suspect Amazons had a large fraction of transvestites and lesbians). "Amarna" could be a version of "Myrina," an Amazon term. One daughter of Akhenaten was named Meryaten.
The previous chapter saw a Cepheus-Hephaestus equation, and it just so happens that Cepheus has been linked to a city called Caphyae, which was situated in relation to lake Orchomenos (Arcadia). The latter term is itself associated with the Minyae peoples, wherefore it looks conspicuous that the city of Akhenaten was in a region called "Minya." Admittedly, the Cepheus of Caphyae was a second mythical character to be distinguished from Cepheus of Ethiopia, but no wonder, due to the distance between them. The Arcadian Cepheus was made an Argonaut, and the Argonauts were, by and large, Minyae. Recalling that I am tracing Ethiopian Cepheus back to Abas/Abantians of Euboea, let me remind you that a second Abas was made king of Argos. In other words, Abantians are well trace-able to Minya of Egypt.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AmarnaAs I identify Cepheus as Cheops/Khufu and his son, Cephre, see that the city of Minya was also Men'at Khufu. I see "Minya" derived as a pure form of Greece's "Minyae." I'll re-mention for new readers that the Cephissus river in Greece, where Cepheus of Ethiopia was from (in my opinion), is alternatively the "Kifissos").
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al_Minya%2C_EgyptThe difference between the two Cepheus' is that one was a branch in Arcadia (evoking Hermes the ram as well as Amun, a ram-headed god) and the other a branch on the Cephissos river near Athens. This situation may explain the conflict that pharaoh Akhenaten started against the Egyptian god, Amun, when the pharaoh tried to replace Amun with Aten. Could Aten have been the Cephissus-branch (i.e. near Athens) coming through Egypt toward Cepheus' his role as king of Ethiopia?
It's now very interesting that I identified (in a coming chapter) mythical Ceto as the Edones, said to ravage the Ethiopia of Cepheus. For, Aten was also Aton, smacking of the Edones. Independent of this new insight, I had located Hephaestus at the Hebros delta, next to the Edones. This is not to say that the Hephaestus line depicted Aten exclusively and thereby did not depict Amun, for Akhenaten was from the Amun line (i.e. his father and his fathers were Amun worshipers). But it is to postulate that both Cepheus' Ethiopia and the Ceto that came against it were of the Aten stock, and yet I don't think they alone defined the Aten cult (of Akhenaten)...because the Mitanni seem to have played a major role.
Let me put it this way. As Aten was the sun disc, he was likely an extension of Attis, the Phrygian sun god, and therefore an extension of the Hatti. If true, it is evidence that his Amun counterpart was an extension of Manes, father of Attis. While Attis was root to Athens, Manes (as the Maeonians) is a hard cookie to find or follow. I've never had an opinion, but as I know from myth that inhabitants of the Maeander river removed to the two Asopus rivers in Greece, one of which was in Boiotia (where Argonaut Orchomenos was located), it would support Manes evolved into the Minyae of Greece. In that picture, the Amun cult of Egypt is expected to have originated, or at least developed, at Minya.
An Attis stock of peoples therefore followed their Manes ancestors to Minya, and eventually they got the upper hand, for a while, and made Aten super-duper, a god that couldn't talk, see or hear, a piece of stone or metal, a prize for a peoples without much understanding.
Perhaps Akhenaten's cult spread further south than Ethiopia, to Kenya, and named it (i.e. compare "Akhen" with "Kenya"). Kenya was populated by the Bantu (evoking Abantians) peoples, and while these are black today, they may have been the Punt whites in the beginning.
These considerations are snow-balling the new discoveries. I can now take a shot at the Mitanni. When I learned that the "tanni" in the term could have been the "Tanan" of "Armatanan," I remembered that Akhenaten's mother had been a princess of the Mitanni. I then wondered if Aten might not have been from the tanni/tanan term. At first I rejected the idea for two reasons: 1) it seemed to obliterate the Aten connection to Hephaestus and Athens, and, 2) the "Mi" remnant of "Mitanni" makes no sense to me. The latter problem can be cleared up in the alternative "Mittani" spelling, which then breaks down to Mit-Tani, a possible Mede-Tani combination, the same combination as per the Tanais river flowing into the Maeotis/Maeetion sea.
As for problem 1), it can become a key instead. As I wondered whether the early Mitanni had evolved into Hephaestus himself (so as to cancel the problem), I figured that, if so, the proto-Mittani had to have been the Guti (themselves proto-Kassites), for these had become the Getae=Edones. I then applied the Mitanni capital, Wassukani, to this problem, which term may have been from the land of "Baz(z)u," and with that I remembered the Bessi Thracians...who had been the (Dionysus-loving) priests of the goat-depicted Satyrs, whom I had in turn identified as a Getae (= goat) branch.
After coming to that, I saw that the "Akhen" portion of the pharaoh's new name reflected the "kani" of "Wassukani." Suspecting as I do that the Nairi figure somewhere into this convulted history of Armenian branches, I've noted the capital of Kenya, Nairobi. The term is said to mean "waters," which is the definition of the Semitic "nahar," itself a term reflecting Nahor. It may be that those who interpret "Nairobi" as waters may be wrong; it may instead have been named after a people holding a Nairi-like name. This would be especially compelling if the Mitanni can be (correctly) traced to the Nairi, not at all a long shot when one sees how close the Mitanni were to Nairi lands.
http://wikipedia.qwika.com/it2en/NairobiAs the Edones are suspect by me to have been the pro-serpent Eden cult, perhaps "Aten" terms were variations of "Eden." The situation of Mitanni in the land of the Chaldean Hebrews makes them suspect as a central part of the Eden cult. This cult is to be distinguished from the Israelites, for the Eden account in the Bible is presumed to be the correct version, while the Eden cult -- which honored the serpent, war, wealth, and sexual deviants -- in many ways twisted the facts passed down by Noah's immediate family. As it's beginning to look like the Eden cult named the Danaans, and as Athens was it's extension, reader take notice.
My point here is that the Aten cult of Akhenaten seems to have been given some royal impetus, and some Mitanni funding, from the Mitanni princess. At that point, I imagine Ceto storming onto the scene to partake in the glory of the new cult, but after some time the mother of Ladon wanted more than glory; she wanted the kingdom of Cepheus itself. She ended up in Joppa, as myth reveals, which may show that she started there in the first place. She could have become the Samaali peoples, for they ended up living on the Tana (i.e. like "Aten") river in Kenya.
The Minya website above tells that Minya was also "Tmoone," a term that might just have been mythical Damno, of Egypt, what I have previously linked to Danaus in Africa and then to such peoples as the Lacedaemonians, Samnians, Semnones, and Dumnoni. But "Tmoone" also evokes, Tmolus, a location at Lydia that I think was mythical Semele herself. Indeed, see that "Samalut is an Egyptian city located in the Al Minya Governorate. It is located on the west bank of the Nile" just north of Minya = Tmoone. In fact, "Samalut" has the variant, "Samannud," which looks like the makings of "Tmoone." Surely this was proto-Dionysus in Egypt, the demons.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samalut
http://archnet.org/library/places/one-place.tcl?place_id=2704The Dumnoni Celts were Danaans who had Dana and Bel as Celt gods. If indeed of the Cepheus stock, the Samaali peoples (on the Tana river) had Belus for their "father," for Belus was made the father of Cepheus. I've identified Belus as the Pelusiac arm of the Nile delta, upon which was the city of Tanis, wherefore the Samaali may have gone out from Tanis to the Tana river in Kenya, as a Danaus branch, but along the way settled in Minya as the Samalut.
Myth has Danaus proper extending from Belus to conquer and/or otherwise rule Libya, which was Athena country, wherefore she seems to be a good candidate for identifying the Africa-wide Aten cult, if such a thing existed. Hence, the Libyan Danaans are predicted to have come to Minya in the reign of Amenhotep IV, to support his new cult when he changed his name to Akhenaten. If so, they could have met the Samaali there, and together they could have made babies...which they gave to their gods of stone or metal, in fires yet, for these were idiotic and senseless peoples, the horror of the human race, for which they were assigned the ugly-Gorgon, or Gorgon-hag, reputation. Up to Phoenicia the Samaali did go; upon Cadmus' shoulder the monster did crow.
Due to Cadmus' name, and because his brother was made Cilix (i.e. Cilicia), it seems that the two branches of Phoenicians mixed with the Cati of Khassi, and therein was Semele (daughter of Cadmus) before meeting up with Harmonia the Great Tart of Samothrace (details previous chapter). Wikipedia defines Kizzuwatna as a mix of Hurrians, and Luwians, the Hurrians being Mitanni. The Luwians, defined as the Trojans, Lydians, and Lemnians, are conveniently the very Amazon dragon cult that I am tracing. The question is, do we eliminate the Mitanni as being a part of the Luwian make-up?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LuwianThe nutshell is that Kizzuwatna was the carrier of the Biblical beast, but I want more than the nutshell; I want the big peanut. I want to know who Semele was among Cadmus. I have only one good theory: Biblical Timnah, in the Samson myth...which myth was placed by the dragon cult near the end of the book of Judges. A coming chapter or two, already published, will give some details on that myth. Suffice it to say here that "Timnah" and "Tmoone" seem identical, and that Samson was made married to a woman in Timnah. Remember, I have other reasons to identify the Samaali as a peoples from Samas(ota).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KizzuwatnaPrior to being Kizzuwatna, the name of the region was "Adaniya" (Adana). If "Armatanan" breaks down to Arma-Tanan, it appears very likely for the Armatanan peoples to have named Adaniya, and if true that the Armatanan and the Mitanni were one, Adaniya must have been a Mitanni center. It's not only plausible for Greek Danaans proper to have been directly from Adaniya, but as mythical Samson (of the Bible) was of the Samos/Samosata Armenians (in my opinion), note that the Bible places him as part of a "Daniy" peoples, a perfect reflection of "Adaniya"! I did not know this version of "Adana" when arguing that the "Daniy" (applied to Samson) did not depict the tribe of Dan, but rather that it depicted the Chaldean-Hebrew Dinay.
There are countless "Dan" terms in the world, and obviously we can't identify them all as tribe-of-Dan branches, but we can confidently assume that the Danaans (known to have ruled Argos) were at the Tanaus river "between lands of Argos and of Sparta." From that we can deduce that mythical Danaus had also been on the Tanais (modern Don) river, off the sea of Azov, a sea thought to have been named by an Asi peoples. This fits well with my hypothesis here, that the Mitanni, and Adaniya (= early Kizzuwatna) were of the Azzi Armenians. To this I would like to remind you that a self-proclaimed dragon-cult individual of the modern times, Nicholas De Vere, claims (online) that his Vere family stemmed from the Mitanni and jumped across Europe via unidentified Scythians to the British Danann.
http://www.mala.bc.ca/~Johnstoi/euripides/electra.htmIt seems certain that the Mitanni were somehow connected to the Dionysus cult because the city of Methoni was said to be founded in the daughter of Oeneus (play-on-words with Greek "oino," same as Latin "vino"), the mythical wine king of Greece who got his wine-making skills from Dionysus (strong picto-code there for Dionysus ancestry or Dionysus alliance). Although Oeneus depicted the Oinoussai islands off of Methoni, he was made a king of Calydon, and was therefore of the Khaldi. It can be entertained that Oeneus came to rule the Khaldi at Calydonia due to a previous Mitanni alliance existing with the Khaldi. In this picture, the Mitanni appear to be carriers of Semele>Dionysus to the Tmolus-Sipylus region (of Lydia), and finally to Methoni. But I thought that was the job of Cadmus. We can expect the Mitanni to have been fused to the Cadmus line in the Kizzuwatna theater. That fusing seems like the Cati living in Khassi.
As I suspected, Dionysus and Tantalus were an allied people in Lydia. For we see that Pelops (son of Tantalus) went from Lydia to rule Pisa, where he married Hippodamia, the daughter of Oinomaos, king of Pisa. Therefore, the Dionysus peoples had left Lydia, for Pisa, en route to naming Methoni (from there I suspect that the Mitanni jumped the sea to found Modena near Pisa in north Italy). Just as Dionysus and satyrs were of the same cloth (when they were wearing clothes), so we find that the mother of Oinomaus was Sterope ("ope" is a common suffix). While these demented sex-pots had come from Sipylus, the mother of Oinomaus was alternatively "Harpina." Apparently, the two STDs were named after this cult.
http://www.theoi.com/Nymphe/NympheHarpina.htmlSince I can see that the Mitanni were in-part Chaldean Hebrews, not only is the Mitanni-Khaldu alliance tenable, but ditto for the Mitanni-Cadmus alliance. If this defines Phoenicians largely as non-Israelite Hebrews, I'm no longer surprised. It's a secret that YHWH, and even the dragon cult, kept well. It also explains why they lived immediately north of Israel, as Israelites tolerated/accepted them due to their quasi-Abrahamic/Nahorite/Lotan stock.
Dionysus and the Mitanni also appear as one Aryan stock because a god of the Mitanni was Nashatiyana, which to the Indo-Aryans was "Nasatya." We make out a "Nysa" in those terms, remembering also that Dionysus was placed in India my myth writers. I'm assuming that the Mitanni-Dionysus relationship started when the Samaali got to Kizzuwatna within Cadmus, but if "Cadmus" represented the Cati from Cadusia, where in his codename would his Phoenicio-Ethiopian side be, especially as his "mus" portion appears to denote Mysia? What I'm trying to say is that Cadmus' "Cad" portion must depict the Gath/Gaza region, not far south of Joppa, where the Cassiopeian Ethiopians were living. We find in Judges 16 that Samson went to Gaza, slept with a prostitute there, and then got a woman (Delilah) from the nearby Sorek valley, where Timnah was located. I think the Sorek valley, which has never been found, is a code for the Armenian god, Tork/Thork, otherwise known as "Angl-Thork" according to a Wikipedia article...in which the god is said to be that of the Orontes dynasty!!
"The Bagratids of Armenia are speculated to have been an offshoot of the Orontid Dynasty, Achaemenid satraps and, later, kings of Armenia (c 400 – c 200 BC). They had their original appanage in Bagrevand in historic north-central Armenia and claimed their descent from a solar deity Angl-Thork, the tutelary god of the Orontids..." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Origin_of_the_Bagratid_dynastiesThe Samuha webpage below tells that the religious cult of Samuha (city of the Hittites) had attempted to adopt the religious cult of Kizzuwatna, which apparently shows kinship between the Samuha Hittites and whatever rulers were in Kizzuwatna at the time...but suggesting that Samuha=Samosata elements were ruling it. That should explain why the Samaali and the Mitanni welded at that point.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SamuhaAs yet, I haven't been able to find an article telling to whom the "Kizzu" term belongs, which may mean that no one knows as a certainty. Why not the Azzi? After all, I recall that Shalmaneser II called the Khassi region, "Khazzi." A "Cati" people were recorded by Shalmaneser II of Assyria, using "Khazzi" for their domain. Once an "s" becomes a "z", it's easy to see a "t" version of the word. Shalmaneser condemned himself by what he wrote on the Black Obelisk, for Jesus said that by our words we will be judged: As if gargling with pride, Shalmaneser, in a long list of self-congratulations, wrote: "To the city of Khazzi I went. My feet they took. Silver (and) gold, their tribute, I received. Cirri, the brother of Cati to the sovereignty over them I set."
http://www.ihaystack.com/authors/a/anonymous/00010887_babylonian_and_assyrian_literature/00010887_english_ascii_p017.htmI could be correct with an Azzi-Mitanni equation even if the kings of Mitanni were distinct from the Azzi, for the Azzi may have been a (rebel?) Mitanni branch. The Azzi may even have named Wassu(kani), only to have the other Mitanni branch take the city away from them. If I'm correct in pegging Wassukani as the proto-Washington surname, the Washington name becomes more Azzi-Armenian than Dionysic. The difference ultimately becomes Nuzi versus Susa = Dionysus versus Zeus.
Although Cassiopeia could loosely have depicted either of the two waves, the Hatti or Hittites, I'd say she strictly depicted the Azzi. "Hatti" and "Khassi" can be viewed as the same term, as for example mythical "Attis" and mythical "Asies" were both viewed as sons of Cotys and therefore depicted the same (Mannae>Lydian) peoples. The Azzi go back a long ways, into early Iranian history, to the Assi of the Tigris region. While the Assi seem like excellent candidates for furnishing Asies = Atti(s) = the Hattusa of the early Hatti wave, the Azzi played a late role...in weakening the HHIttites at about the time of Sippululiuma I.
The Azzi are thought to be equated with, or at least closely related to, the Hayassa Armenians, so much so that the two are often styled together as "Hayasa-Azzi." I'd say we're talking Kassites once again, for as Armenians root themselves to a Haik god (i.e. using a hard-c), and as "Hayasa" is evidently the same as "Hyksos" (another hard-c), shouldn't we expect a hard version of "Hayassa"? It's then possible for this term to have modifed to/from "Kaskas/Gasgas," a peoples in the Pontus-Halys region (See map of Hittite regions).
I'm not going to give my reasons again for equating Poseidon with Nahor, but will repeat that Nahor's son, Chazo ("Hazo" in the KJV and NIV), evokes Poseidon's son (as listed by Plato), "Azaes." The latter is Poseidon's son named for western Atlantis, but I think Plato was copying a term in the Greek theater that pertained to the nation of Nahor's son by a similar term, and of course I'm suspecting the Assi > Kassites and their Abira tribe.
The new-found evidence that Arthurian bloodlines trace to Urartian stock, which was itself an evolution of the Nairi, tends to prove that the Nahorites were enveloped into the Mitanni fold of Hurrians; that Nahor is thought to have lived in Haran serves as evidence. As "Nahor" is "Nachor" in the Bible, isn't it frightening that Dionysus was the god of Naxos? If it doesn't sit well with us to view the Assi>Kassites as namers of Wassukani, perhaps Nahor's second son, Buz, may do better.
